Signing Ceremony with Indigrid for the 5GWH – August 2025

In August 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Tianjin, China, between Indigrid and China Automotive New Energy Technology Co. Ltd., with the goal of developing a 5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

The agreement establishes a strategic cooperation for the coming years, focused on advancing large-scale energy storage infrastructure, optimizing renewable energy integration, and ensuring a reliable electricity supply in high-demand regions.

During the ceremony, representatives from both companies emphasized that this project not only strengthens Indigrid’s position in the global market, but also represents an opportunity to accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable and competitive energy matrix.

With this milestone, Indigrid takes a key step in its international expansion, investing in high-capacity projects that address the growth of the clean energy sector and strengthen long-term partnerships in Asia and other strategic markets.
